Position: Catering Equipment Sales Coordinator
The Company: Integrated Catering Equipment (ICE) are looking for a Catering Equipment Sales Coordinator to join the pre-eminent galley and mess room specialists in the North Sea. We supply and maintain catering equipment throughout the onshore & offshore marine industry. ICE has been trading for over 20 years and we are looking to continue that tradition with a view to growing the business.
The Role: We are looking for someone who possesses knowledge of the on/offshore catering industry and the equipment/appliances utilised. We require someone that understands the importance of kitchen/galley layout and the benefits that a well-fitted kitchen/galley can provide. There will be elements of kitchen layout design within the role, working closely with our designers, as well as the specification and recommendation of equipment to clients. Additionally in this key role you will be charged with generating new business opportunities through self-generated leads and pre-existing relationships you may have with potential clients & facility managers etc., handling the whole sales cycle ensuring strong customer relationships are built as well as nurturing and increasing revenue from other avenues. A knowledge and understanding of the maintenance process including the parts required would be a benefit.
The Candidate: It would be beneficial if you have recent experience within a busy catering environment using or maintaining modern catering equipment. Ideally you would also have commercial acumen in the form of a sales position held previously. The successful applicant will have to use their experience and relationships to generate new business opportunities in the highly competitive marine catering equipment sector.
